Topman Denim - Laurence Ellis groups up

Topman has teams up with flourishing young film Director, Laurence Ellis to produce three short films which form the heart of an online campaign to display case Topman’s denim fashion collection which will open on-line on Monday October 4th 2010. The films center of attention on youth and uniqueness and trail the journeys of three young men – Louis, Henry and Sid.

Denim – the incredibly backbone of Topman – the forefront of pioneering Menswear designer collaborations chose to commission a film by Laurence Ellis. His answer to the short has been to direct there friendly interlacing films with a mournful tempo and delicate intimacy that simultaneously copes to confine both the spirit and world that is Topman.’ - Gordon Richardson, Design Director

‘The reason for producing three individual films was - to symbolize Topmans denim range. Jeans are very real and surpass passing trends. They are a part of each person and are worn in your very own way. The characters created and the journeys they catch are each very individual and reveal their stylistic identity.’-Laurence Ellis, Photographer and Director.

TOPMAN will address all the films, behind the scenes recording and interviews with the characters and Laurence himself as well as permit the viewer to browse the collection.

A granted denim room has been set up to lead through different styles and fits including all those characterized in the films such as the Carrot, Skinny and Arc.
