Italian menswear designer Umberto Angeloni, inaugurating his latest Uman label in Moscow, noticed a modernized desire for luxury in the world's fourth-largest market but said it could carry out with a re-style.

Started in Milan last year, Uman last month opened in London after New York, San Fransisco and Paris. Angeloni eyes up to 25 Uman boutiques or supplies internationally.

China's Communist Party source place clutch to fashion pinnacle

Shanghai, birthplace of China's verdict Communist Party and currently abode to shops selling Ferraris, Hermes and Louis Vuitton, will host Italy's prestigious fashion pinnacle, focused by decision-makers from the major luxury brands.

Numerous sources have backed up that there has been an abrupt final minute cancellation of Los Angles Fashion Week shows Oct. 21-25 owing to authorized concerns for the site in an industrial part of downtown L.A.

The fashion show was scheduled to showcase a sequence of 18 designer collections Oct 21-25 and was abruptly canceled due to authorized concerns organizers were unable to reach. Dolce and Gabbana charged of tax avoidance - statement

ROME (AFP) -
Italian prosecutors have charged the fashion house Dolce & Gabbana of skipping to proclaim revenues of around 840 million euros (1.2 billion dollars), Italy's major business daily stated on Saturday.

Pollsters have ended their investigation against founders Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, as well as five other people, but no official indicts have yet been presented, Il Sole 24 Ore said, quoting prosecutors in Milan.

The claim is that Dolce and Gabbana made a company in Luxembourg in 2004 and 2005 which was given power of the fashion group's brands, thereby evading Italian taxes. The Luxembourg Company, Gado, was in reality opetated from Italy.

The owing taxes amount to 420 million euros, Il Messaggero daily stated.

Italy has been breaking behind on extensive tax evasion in latest months in an attempt to increase government revenues following the global financial crisis.

Dolce and Gabbana was put up in 1985 and occupies more than 3,000 people, with a network of 116 stores and 17 factory channels in 2009, the group's website said.

Miss USA and American actress LEONA GAGE but had the title stripped died in Los Angeles.

Leona Gage died of heart failure at Sherman Oaks hospital on Tuesday (05th Oct 10), son Robert Kaminer informed the associated Press.

Gage took benefit of the interest that came with the lost crown and made many television outward shows, including a highly rated sign on the Ed Sullivan Show.

While captivating the fondness of Sullivan and much of the nation, Gage got ample of hate mail too.

She had a complicated life in consequent decades: Six unsuccessful marriages, lost protection of her five children, two of whom died before her, drug misuse and suicide attempts.

But Kaminer said she was proud to have had five children who went on to wealthy lives, including a commercial real estate agent and a lieutenant - colonel in the army.
